In Indonesia there are various religions. For example Islam, Hindu, Kristen, Buddha and Konghucu. Moreover, religion is still divided into several groups. For example, Islam is divided into several groups. However, as good citizens of Indonesia we must respect to other religion. In accordance with the values of Pancasila as the first "Almighty God" which means that we must respect each other, although different religions. And we realize our motto of "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" is different but still one nevertheless.

Currently, the level of the economy in Indonesia is still very low. Many community in Indonesia are experience poverty. Moreover, currently, the exchange rate of foreign currency  are not controlled. The rupiah become weak, while the value of the dollar higher. But on other side, many people in Indonesia are high levels of the economy. This is causes the Indonesian State's economy is not stable. The instability can retard the progress of the State of Indonesia.

The government can overcome the instability with some efforts. For example :

1)      Provide jobs for the unemployed.

2)      Commit exports higher than imports.

3)      Increase the minimum wage for employees.

4)      Providing education fund for students who are less capable.

5)      Remove corruption.

With these efforts the source of the community's economy will increase and become stable. If the economy is stable, then the society will be more developed and prosperous.

At this time, sanitation in Indonesia is quite poor. Indonesia is the third worst sanitation in the world with 109 million people that not receive good sanitation, especially in water sanitation. Water sanitation is influenced by several factors, one of which is throw rubbish not in its place. Actual, poor sanitation can cause a variety of diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, and cholera.

Poor sanitation can be controlled with several activities:

1)      Providing sanitation facilities

2)      Providing clean water

3)      Throw rubbish in its place

With these activities, sanitation can be controlled, but all can be controlled with an optimal sanitation if communities have awareness of the importance of sanitation for life.

My friends

            We know, the government has set up a higiene program that call waste bank. Waste bank is the means that be use by communities to accommodate waste which will then be recycled. The State of Indonesia, especially in East Java, a lot of garbage strewn anywhere, especially in densely populated areas whose inhabitants do not have awareness to throw garbage in its place. That is why the government established the waste bank. Waste bank was established with several objectives, including :

1.      To keep the cleanlinnes of the surrounding environment.

2.      Improving the economic value of garbage

3.      Improving creativity of citizens

Waste bank was established in Indonesia is very suitable to keep clean, because cleanlinnes in Indonesia has not been maintained. For that, let us keep the cleanlinnes in our environment. Hygiene is part of faith.

            Today I will deliver a speech about “Justice In Indonesia”.
My friends

            Justice is treats a person or other parties in accordance with their rights. However, in Indonesia the law deemed not able to deliver justice for everyone. On the contrary, the law became a tool for authorities to act arbitrarily. Injustice in Indonesia can we look at the practice of the life of society, nation and state. For example :

HP Judge extorted defendant about fourty million rupiah, he only punished mutation for one year. Very unfair with the case of AAL that sentence of five year, because he stealing member of Brimop’s slipper.

The case of injustice reflect that justice in Indonesia still decrease. In Indonesia, there is not unity in the direction of the struggle for justice. Awareness to struggle together is very thin.

We know, at now the drugs entry in Indonesia, especially in the young generation. Drug is the dangerous subtances, because can change our thoughts, feelings, mental functioning and person’s behavior. Because that, we must always stay away from drugs. We can stay away from drugs with some efforts. The effrts must we do since early, with extensive education and teaching provision of positive information. With the education, we can learning to live responsibly, with live responsibly, we can stay away from drugs.

            Today I will deliver a speech about “12 Years Compulsory Education”.  
My friends

12 years compulsory education is one of the program that do by the government. In order to improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia. This program must be done as soon as possible to improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia that get a low predicate in Asia. Successfully held the nine years compulsory education last year, now, the government begin to higher level, that is 12 years compulsory education. That means, every child should receive additional education from elementary school, junior high school, until senior high school.

12 years compulsory education program is a good step for the development of the nation. Because can improve the quality of public education. Actuall, this program start by the government since last year.  The government has taken several steps to go 12 years compulsory education. For example :

1.      Giving some facilities to some school.

2.      Building new school.

3.      Building new classroom in some school.

4.      Exempting school tuition.

We know at present, many problem arise in the community that is juvenile delinquency. Why do that problem arise in the community? Did you now? The problem arise in the community because several factors, for example :

1.      Since the development of the mass media.

2.      Lack of arental pressureon children, so every child can act freely.

Juvenile delinquency can cause impacts in our life. Among other, because of the rise of juvenile delinquency can make every citizens become restless and uneasy, not only that, juvenile delinquency can cause anarchic action. We can take behavior to prevent juvenile delinquency. For example, as good parents should give some positive direction for their child. Moreover, we as teenagers must always behavior with positive action.

My friends

            Clean and healthy life behavior is a step that must be done to achieve optimal health for everyone, especially in Indonesia. Healthy condition does not necessarily happen, but we must always strive from unhealthy becoming healthy lifestyle  and creating a healthy environment. These efforts should start from planting healthy mindset that becomes our responsibility to society and must be initiated and cultivated by themselves. This effort is to realize the degree of public health as high as an investment for the development of productive human resources. In seeking this behavior needs commitment together to support in improving the helth of society, especially the family, so that development can be achieved maximum health.

            The family is an invetment the nation that must be guarded and maintained health. Clean and healthy behaviors in the family including by maintaining cleanliness in the home environment and the surrounding environment. Throw garbage in its place. Besides to be family aware of nutrition. With good nutrition, we can grow healthy and intelligent. Healthy behaviors also with protecting the family of drugs and prevent disease.

            Today I will deliver a speech about smoking entitled “Smoking is a bad habit in our lives”.       

The honorable teachers.
            As we know smoking is one part of the daily activities of the majority of Indonesian society. Most smokers know the dangerous of smoking but they never tried to stop smoking. Because that, as good young generation, espicially we are the old generation must be convinced that smoking is bad habits in life. Smoking is a bad habit because of three factors, among others:         

1.      Containing poison substances

2.      Causing diseases such as cancer.

3.      Consuming a lot of money

            The first factor of smoking is bad habit because it contains poison substance. We should not consume cigarettes because it is not good for health. We  know there are many dangerous substances in cigarette. For the example, nicotine substance. That substance is very dangerous and can cause various diseases. Not only dangerous for smoker, but also it is  dangerous for us if we near the smoker. So, if there is a smoker near you, say to him or her for stubbing his or her cigarette for a moment with good polite.      
            Next, I will talk about the second factor. That is, smoking cause various diseases like cancer, disorders of pregnancy, fetal disorders, and etc. One of the factor mortality in Indonesia is smoking. The majority are society! Many people died because of smoking and drugs. It was very disappointing! One of the society died in wrong way. Smoking habit also produces behavioral effects that are bad for the smokers. And so many the negative effect of smoking.

            Last, cigarette is expensive. Did you know? Cigaratte price is 7-10 thousand rupiah or more than it for one pack. Can you imagine, if a smoker spent his money to buy a pack of cigarettes every day and every week, every month and every year? If one day for buying a pack of cigarette is 10 thousands, so, in one week he spent 70 thousands, in a month he spent 300 thousands and in year he spent 3.650.000, it is just one pack for a day. Wow fantastic! If 2, 3, or 4 packs a day,  how much? So much money for smoking.  This  causes an economic crisis family.

            Smoking is not positive activity for us, espicially for Mr that become old generation. So, from now, let’s say “Say No to Smoking and Stay Away From Smoke”. And always keep the cleanliness anywhere. I think that’s all, thanks for your attention.

Respect Your Mother

One day, there was a girl. Her mother only had one eye. So, she hated her mother. She also felt that her mother was such an embarrassment. Especially, when her mother came to her to say hello in her school. She was so embarrassed. She ignored her mother and ran out.

Next day, one of her classmates who know the incident said, “Your mom only has one eye!”. So, she was more embarrassed and wanted her mom to just disappear. After that, she went to home and said to her mother some bad words. That is, “If you’re only gonna make me a laughingstock, why don’t you just die?” She kept on said some bad words and full of anger, but her mother did not respond, because her mother loved her very much.

She wanted out from that house and have nothing to do with her. So, she studied real hard and got a chance to go abroad a study. Then, she became a succes people. She bought a house for her own. After that, she got married and had kids. She was happy with her new life, but, she remembered her mother.

Then one day, her mother came to visit her in her house. When her mother stood her house, her child laughed at her and loved her mother. So, she yelled at her for coming over uninvited and chased away her mother, “Get out of here! Now!!!” And then, her mother answered, “Oh, I’m so sorry, I may have gotten the way address”, and went home.

Next some days, she got a reunian school letter. So, she came and went to her mother house after the reunian. When she went to her mother, her neighbors said that her mother died. She wrote a letter for her. The letter contained about her mother feelings. From that, she knew that her mother loved her so much. So, when she was very little, her mother gave her mine, because she lost her one eye. Finally, she awared that her mother so love her.

The Man And His Father

One day, there were a man and his father sat on the seat. When the man read a newspaper, his father asked a question, “What is it?” Then, he replied “The chruch bird”.

Not long after, his father asked a question again, with same question, “What is it?” Then, he replied “The chruch bird” with rather annoyed. His father kept on saw confuse. He kept on saw the chruch bird, and then, she asked a question again, with same question, “What is it?” Then, the man was more annoyed, so, he snap at his father, “The chruch bird!” Next, his father still saw the chruch bird, and then, he asked a question again, with same question at the first, “What is it?” Then, the man was anger. So, his father went into their house and come back brought a diary book when the man was very little.

From that, the man knew if his father very loved him. His father always replied the question of the man without bored and annoyed. Finally, he awared and he asked forgive to his father and hug him.

Common Idioms

Some idioms are used by most people that speak English; others are used by a more select group.

There was a porcupine named Landi. He was lonely. No one wanted to play with him because they were afraid of his spikes.

“Dear Landi. We don’t want to play with you because your spikes are too sharp. We don’t want you to hurt us,” said Cici the rabbit one day.

“Cici is right, Landi. It is not because you are bad or rude to us. No, Landi! Just because of your spikes. They will stab us when we come close to you,” said Tito the rooster.

Landi felt lonely. He murmured,”Why don’t they want to play with me?”

Landi spent most of the time day-dreaming at the river bank.”I would have lots of friends and play with them if no spikes were on my body. I would be happy. I would not be lonely like this. What a shame!”

Suddenly, Kuku the turtle appeared from the river. He came to Landi and said,”Landi, what are you thingking of?”

“Oh, nothing,” Landi replied.

“Don’t lie to me, Landi. Please tell me your problem. Maybe I can help you,” Kuku said wisely.

Then, he sat beside Landi. He wasn’t afraid of Landi’s spikes.

            Shortly, Landi told Kuku his problem. Kuku nodded his head. He said,”Poor you. But is not your fault. I know, your spikes are very useful and helpful to you. Your friends will realize it some day. Trust me, Landi.”

            “Thanks, Kuku. You’re really my best friend. You are the only one here who wants to be my friend.”

            One day, Sam the frog held his birthday party. He invited all his friends, inclunding Landi. But he decided not to come. He didn’t want to mess up the party.

            “I’ll come with you, Landi. I’ll tell everyone that you are harmless,” said Kuku. Finally, Landi attended the party. Everyone enjoyed it.

            Suddenly, Tito ran here and there screaming, “Help....help....! The evil wolf is coming. Save yourselves!”

            Then, everyone ran to save their lives, except Kuku and Landi. Kuku pulled his head and legs into his shell. Landi rolled his body into a ball.

            Unintentionally, the evil wolf stepped his foot on Landi. Of course, the spikes pricked him. He screamed,”Ouch!” Since his foot was bleeding, he didn’t chase Landi’s friends any longer. Then, he ran away.

            “Horray....horray....! Long live Landi! He saved our lives,” said Cici and her friends. Everyone shook Landi’s hand and thanked him. From then on, Landi wasn’t lonely anymore. His friends knew that his spikes would not hurt anyone, unless they wanted to hurt Landi.

          "Cici benar, Landi. Hal ini bukan karena kamu  buruk atau kasar kepada kami. Tidak, Landi! Hanya karena durimu. Mereka akan menusuk kita ketika kita datang dekat denganmu," kata Tito ayam.
Landi merasa kesepian. Dia bergumam, "Mengapa mereka tidak ingin bermain denganku?"
Landi menghabiskan sebagian besar waktu melamun di tepi sungai.

"Aku akan memiliki banyak teman dan bermain dengan mereka jika tidak ada duri berada di tubuhku. Aku akan senang. Aku tidak akan kesepian seperti ini. Mengapa ini terjadi! "
Tiba-tiba, Kuku kura-kura muncul dari sungai. Dia datang ke Landi dan berkata, "Landi, apa yang kau fikirkan?"
          "Oh, tidak ada," jawab Landi.
          "Jangan berbohong padaku, Landi. Tolong beritahuku tentang masalahmu. Mungkin aku bisa membantumu, "kata Kuku bijak.
Kemudian, dia duduk di samping Landi. Dia tidak takut dengan duri Landi.
Tak lama, Landi menceritakan masalahnya pada Kuku. Kuku mengangguk kepalanya. Dia berkata, "Kasihan kamu. Tapi bukan salahmu. Aku tahu, durimu sangat berguna dan membantumu. Teman-temanmu  akan menyadarinya beberapa hari. Percayalah, Landi. "
          "Terima kasih, Kuku. Kau benar-benar sahabatku. Kau adalah satu-satunya di sini yang mau berteman denganku. "
Suatu hari, Sam kodok mengadakan pesta ulang tahunnya. Dia mengundang semua teman-temannya, termasuk Landi. Tapi dia memutuskan untuk tidak datang. Dia tidak ingin mengacaukan pesta.
          "Aku akan datang denganmu, Landi. Aku akan memberitahu semua orang bahwa kau tidak berbahaya, "kata Kuku. Akhirnya, Landi menghadiri pesta. Semua orang menikmatinya.
Tiba-tiba, Tito berlari ke sana-sini sambil berteriak, "Tolong .... tolong ....! Serigala jahat akan datang. Selamatkan nyawamu! "
          Kemudian, semua orang berlari untuk menyelamatkan nyawa mereka, kecuali Kuku dan Landi. Kuku menarik kepala dan kakinya ke dalam cangkangnya. Landi menggulung  tubuhnya menjadi bola.
          Secara tidak sengaja, serigala jahat melangkahkan kakinya di atas Landi. Tentu saja, duri menusuk dirinya. Dia berteriak, "Ouch!" Karena kakinya berdarah, dia tidak mengejar teman Landi lagi. Kemudian, dia melarikan diri.
          "Horray .... asyik ....! Hidup Landi! Dia menyelamatkan hidup kita, " kata Cici dan teman-temannya.

Semua orang menjabat tangan Landi dan mengucapkan terima kasih. Sejak saat itu, Landi tidak kesepian lagi. Teman-temannya tahu bahwa duri itu tidak akan menyakiti siapa pun, kecuali mereka yang ingin menyakiti Landi. Pesan dari cerita tersebut adalah kita tidak boleh berburuk sangka terhadap orang lain.
